Every year, select students have the opportunity to participate in this extended training visit at CERN. This specialised visit goes beyond the public exhibitions and introduces students and teachers to the experiments and the scientists who are creating history.
Home to the World Wide Web, the 27 km long Large Hadron Collider and the Nobel Prize winning discovery – the Higgs Boson – CERN is the epicentre of cutting edge research in the field of High Energy Physics, Engineering and Computer Science.

DownloadThe dates of the next training visits and registration deadlines will be announced on our website, typically 6- 8 months in advance. If you are a school principal, teacher or parent, please fill out our registration form and we will contact you with more details. All registrations are on a first cum basis.
Each training visit slot can accommodate total of 25 students and teachers.
If you miss the deadline or the slot is already full, we will put you on a waitlist for the next visit and notify you as soon as the dates are finalised.
You will need a passport which is valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure. We will share a detailed list of other supporting documents required for the VISA application once you complete the registration process.
We can provide support or make recommendations for all bookings, scheduling and other logistical arrangements.
